If he takes the Poison die with a single Doppelganger die, you'll win.

That's the right idea, but it's a little subtle!

Certainly, you can't win if he DOESN'T take the poison with a doppelganger die [and I appreciate the "correct" spelling, though since the die was invented and is used on buttonmen.com with the other spelling, I don't know what to do].

But if he captures the poison with his 10-sided d-ganger, it will mean a difference of 45 points [we don't have poison, now he does -- and he loses the +5 points for the 10-sided die]... that's a gain of 30 "sides"... but we're going to lose 6 sides from our V-swing, too!
we'd have to capture ALL his other dice, leaving him just with the poison uncaptured at the end just to draw! this (i) isn't very likely and (ii) doesn't win, it only draws.

we COULD win, perhaps, if the d-gang attack was made by a DIFFERENT die.

This still leaves the question of how to make this most likely to occur! notice, for example, that if you allow devious to take the poison with a skill attack, he'll win! and, by the above, if you allow him to take it with his 10-sided die he will almost certainly win, too [and at worst, tie]

The only possibility I can see is if you take his 10-sider and roll 8 or higher (single die skill attacks don't activate the doppelganger ability), then hope that you can get a roll where he has to take your poison using a power attack after he takes your 6-sider.
