BMAI is not in a good position at the moment...

the odds are he (it?) won't be able to win this round, but it does still have some chance of winning this round, right? what should it do?

I don't know what he should do, but if I were in his place, I'd probably capture either the X4:3 or the 6:1 with my p20:3. Rolling that p20 high will at least give him a little bit of power, and thus some chance of capturing the 10:8 or (if he's really lucky) the 20:13. Of course, getting rid of the p20 at that point might be tricky, but it seems worth trying.

The path to bmai winning is to take your 20 and have you take his p20. Ideally, bmai shouldn't take your p12, but that's many moves away. As to which of the X4:3 or the 6:1 [I like that notation, jota!]...probably the 6:1 just for the extra 2 sides that may matter in the end. What did he do?

right, the key thing is that BMAI needs to capture 19+ sides of my dice (well, in effect 20+ since they're all even numbers) and lose his poison in order to win. if he doesn't reroll the poison-D20 he'll definitely lose (I'll take it without rolling my D10 or D20). so he's got to roll his poison D20. It's not as clear whether he should take the D4 or the D6 -- and, you can see what he DID by looking at the subsequent post, which is from later in the SAME ronud.

oh, let me add, he doesn't *have* to take my D20, if he can take the D4,D10 and D6 in his next three attacks, he'll be fine.

I think he should take the 4-sider because then there's a pretty good chance that you can't reroll the 6-sider so he can pick it up later.
