well there are at least two ways you could POSSIBLY win -- you've got to take the 4-sided die, but you could do it either with the 20-sided die or your own X=4. the X=4 has more chances of being captured after rerolling (25% vs 15%), BUT keeping your 20 sided die at value 18 might improve the chances of capturing the ss(20) -- which you also need to do -- after the capture of the 8-sided die.
