He encountered this situation in a recent game. I haven't thought about it at length, but I'm pretty sure I know which die I would use to make my attack; which die I would capture is a little less clear, but I have reasons for that, too. But I don't want to give spoilers and, anyway, I might be wrong.

I would use p(12) showing 9 for sure to try to reroll lower. It is more difficul to tell which die should become the target, but since Darkly Cute wants to sell both her poison dice, I'd probably target the lowest die on the opponent's end, which is p(4) showing 2.
In reality BSS used his p(12) to capture my p(8) but it also worked out ok for him as I later made a mistake in my move and didnt try to reroll that d12. I kept it till the end and lost.
