To be honest, I can't see any way that theAlmighty can win this game, unless you explicitly help him to do so.
I don't follow you at all! if he can keep me from taking his 8-sided die with my non-null dice, he might well win -- it is possible for him to capture all 40 of my non-null sides -- he has a shot at limiting me to at most 36 sides captured with non-null dice.
