OK -- you *know* what I would do in this situation. Don't you?

There's one obvious die for me to capture -- isn't there? And, conditional on that, there's one obvious choice of die to make the attack -- isn't there? But how can that possibly be right?

I presume that you're either going to

- take the (10) showing 1 with your (20) showing 15, or
- take the (6) showing 6 with your (20) showing 19

I can't see, though, which one is more obvious.

They are probably pretty close, but I have a strong bias toward taking the (10) showing 1 with my (20) showing 15 even though it leaves my opponent with more dice showing large values [A] as the game progresses, 19 will be an increasingly hard number for my opponent to attain with a skill attack; 15 also will get a little harder to attain, but once you have 3 or fewer dice, the combinations summing to 19 are significantly more rare than for 15. [B] it's just so perverse to recapture a die with value 1 with a d20 that's showing a large value!
