Hmmm.... irilyth took my mood swing with his mood swing -- I guess he didn't want to reroll his 20-sided die and, since his other dice all had value of 1, he didn't have a better attack.
But was it the right thing to do? Had I been in his place, my instinct would have been to reroll the 20-sided die and capture the mighty die, so that it wouldn't have a chance to reroll as a 30 sided die. I confess, I haven't done the math -- and whenever mood swings are involved, I get confused, anyway.
Any insights?

I'm with you there, Ted. With the total of the remaining dice being only 7, rerolling the d20 is certainly very attractive, although if it rerolls low, your two 1's leave you in a rather poor position.
